Mr.Greek Restaurant in Toronto

While accidentally prepping my food on a plate, the manager called his employee a dumb ass loud enough for me to hear. The food is good, service is fine - a team full of a young adults (that obviously have to put up with a rude manager). You get quite a bit for the price.

I placed a catering order just as covid came to light On March 14th... It was my husbands 50th birthday...I was on the fence as to whether or not to go through with the order...but I was so glad I did go through with it!!! The party was amazing, and our friends and family were in awe of the food selection!! The amount of food was crazy!!! My husband even tried gyro for the first time(we always order souvlaki) and it is his new favorite thing ever!! The order came hot, along with utensils and serving spoons, tongs etc...and the staff kept in contact as to when my order was going to be there...they called at the 3 min count down...I can't say enough about this location, the food and the staff...thank you for making our party one to remember!!!

SALTIEST meal i have ever had. Every item, rice, potatoes, chicken....practically inedible. I had some grilled chicken with their potatoes. ... The garlic bread was just a buttered sub roll, grilled.

Food is really good. Service was little slow, but worth the wait.

40 min to get a plate done, and only one costumer before me. Too long for just a plate.

Greek is one of my favorite cuisines and I loved the food here!I ordered the chicken souvlaki and the chicken gyro and both were yummy. The sauces are what make the difference- theirs are delicious.Will order again!

The food was great and the service was top notch. The only complain I have about this place was that one of the servers had the worst body odor ever.

I order takeout and it took 45 minutes to receive my order.They were not even busy. 1 other guy in front of me for takeout and 2 tables in the dinning room were occupied.I order a pork souvlaki on a bun and a small Greek salad.When I left with my order and got to my location to have my dinner the Greek salad was dry without any dressing. There was not any dressing in the bag for me to put on the salad.The server behind the counter asked if I wanted 1 stick or 2 stick. I replied 2 stick. When I opened my souvlaki there were only 5 pieces of meat on the bun. So how many pieces of meat on each stick?I did not get a pork souvlaki as I ordered, I received chicken.

Good service and generous portions. Good place to stop before or after a Jay's game. Has a patio.

Probably the worst dining experience I've ever had. if i could got less than one star i would. First of all the waiter had an attitude from the start and slid my cellphone across the table because it was on top of a menu. I ordered the classic gyro thinking it would be a classic gyro wrapped with tzatziki sauce inside. what I got was a plate of frozen "meat" a small cup of frozen tzatziki and bland rice not wrapped at all just thrown on a plate. after waiting almost and hour for the food, I had a few bites and immediately asked for the check. They have the meat spinning inside but the meat I got on my plate was not even close to being fresh. When it was time for the check the waiter slammed the pens and papers for me to sign on the table and didnt say a word.

Food was excellent. The service was great. The grandkids loved it, ate everything on their plates

Great place for some simple Greek food

Food was meh, chicken was good so we're the fries however garlic bread has no butter or actually garlic bread and the bread was just hamburger buns toasted and burnt waiter was very in your face too close to be honest however he was kind.

Don't mistake Jimmy the Greek (found in mall food courts) for Mr. Greek. This is a restaurant offering table service, as well as take-out options. The staff are friendly, they have a decent selection on their menu, and prices are reasonable for what you get. Not a gourmet greek restaurant, but it does the trick to satisfy your needs for Mediterranean cuisine.

Waited almost an hour for food. Within this time, one of the employees took off her mask at least 10x. Touched the front of her mask at least 10x. Kept taking off her mask. Sneezed.. And never once washed her hands...

1 hour to get my salad. 1.5 hours for the meat and it was over cooked and dry. No serving plates ether

I was in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. The service was fantastic! I placed my order within minutes of sitting down. The server was quick to bring me a drink. The hummus appetizer was great, and I recommend the lamb souvlaki. I'll definitely go back again.

Our waitress was friendly, welcoming & genuine! Place had a very clean & neat appearance. Food was decent.

The food here is absolutely amazing but the service was very slow. The tables felt a bit sticky. If you're willing to wait then it's very worth your time

Large portions and great tasting food

Love this place! We had dinner last night, food was awesome and portions large! But the best was the waitress Maria! She greeted us with a smile, very friendly and efficient. The rest of the staff (kitchen included) were also very lovely! We will be back again soon! :)

Food was tasty. Wait was incredibly long for what I ordered and the staff was nonchalant. Let's just say I'd order it for delivery.

Very pleased with our delivered meal yesterday. Due to the weather the food was late, but they were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to help us with our order. When the food arrived it was delicious. This is my new go-to Greek delivery!

With all the shutdowns I miss my restaurant outings.. butl haven't given up Mr Greek. I usually order online but if I call in, the staff remembers my favourites. The souvlaki has that grilled taste I love, and the village salad has got massive chunks of tomatoes and feta, balanced with green peppers, red onions, cucumbers and olives. It goes so well with the traditional gyros and tons of tzatziki. I try to stick to a keto diet and just those mains (without bread) are SO SATISFYING! That said.. if you're not keto.. get the soft, warm pita! The Pikilia for Two is another fave dish that covers almost all my cravings. And the baklava. It's such a GENEROUS portion.. it is sticky, flaky perfection.

Being very hungry I opted for "extra meat" on my gyros...total was over $14 and the sandwich was small to medium size. I even took it back thinking perhaps it was a mistake "no, that's got extra meat" was the response. For a decent gyros I would suggest any other Greek place over this one...at Messini Authentic Gyros or Alexandros you could get two sandwiches for $14.

Great food and great service.. We tried vegetarian options and they were very tasty.. It was a cold day outside and we just stepped into it as it was closer to our parking lot.. We were not disappointed!!

So I heard they have new management and decided to visit. WOW!! Everything was so clean. So fresh. I can honestly say this was the best Greek food I have had in a long time. Highly recommend you visit.

Great tasting food but the service is a bit slow. I understand they get busy especially with covid going on however if you they tell you a time come 10 minutes after that that way your not waiting forever. Again good food but slow service.

Thumbs down. Went here last week after visiting the Aquarium with my family and we thought to sit and have a nice lunch. The table was sticky and waited for quite a long time to order even though it wasn't busy. My husband got a pork souvlaki and the meat tasted freezer burned and he did not eat the meal. We were still charged for his meal even though he wasn't satisfied and didn't eat. Will never go here again.

The staff is really really nice!!!Pita is good and enough for those who don’t want to be too full. The sauce in Pita is mild and a little bit sour, which embellishes the pita.Burger is also good yet the beef is a little dry.It is not very big but enough for those who have small stomachs.

Service was very slow despite not many customers during lunch hour. Food was good, as typical Greek food is. Nice restaurant but they need to work on the ventilation as it got kind of smoky from the kitchen.

Overpriced very mediocre Greek food. The chicken skewers were very small and bland, the "pita" bread was just cheap plain garlic bread. You can find much better Greek food in the city.

The cookies are lit. I anticipate craving them again soon. Most definitely get several.

Very clean and tasty food

Great food, served efficiently and quickly. I especially loved the garlic bread, gyro and green tea. Price is quite attractive too. Will definitely visit again because I think food here is way better than the drab ol Jimmy the Greek fare
